Transcript Information
One of the most frequent requests received by the Office of the Registrar is the request for a copy of an academic transcript. We honor requests as quickly as possible in the order of application, but it usually takes 7 to 14 days to process before mailing. There may be some delay during busy periods such as registration, final exams, commencement, etc. We are not able to honor requests if any previous fee remains outstanding.
Each student is entitled to one free transcript while attending plus one with diploma at graduation. After the free transcripts have been used, there is a charge or $10.00 for each official copy. Additional transcripts requested in the same order cost $6.00 each. Single copies of unofficial transcripts are available free of charge. Checks should be made payable to Carthage College. Although e-mail requests cannot be honored, you may submit your request in one of the following ways:
- You may appear in the Office of the Registrar, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.
- You may print a copy of the Academic Transcript Request Form and mail it to the Office of the Registrar with the appropriate fee.
- You may send a letter to the Office of the Registrar that contains the necessary information with the appropriate fee.
- We will accept FAX requests for copies that do not require a fee. You may fax in a request to (262) 551-6007. Please flag the fax to the attention of the Office of the Registrar.
