• All residence hall room jacks are live, and all are ethernet
• Wireless access is available in most campus locations. Information needed for wireless setup is available upon request to registered students.
• DHCP is used to obtain IP numbers (instructions are available)
• NETREG is used in residence halls, so authentication is required in those locations (wired and wireless.) Use your Novell user id and password to gain access to the network and internet.
• Your connections must NOT be bridged in your Network control panel
• Hubs and baluns are needed in some residence hall rooms to use the wired connection. These items are available for checkout in the Hedberg Library.
