2009:  Broke an ankle during indoor practice and didn’t make his first appearance until April 23 at Concordia (Wis.)…worked a total of three innings spread over three games.

2007-08:  Attended Illinois State University but did not play baseball.

2006:  Made three appearance, including two starts, and went 1-1 in 11.0 innings pitched.

2005:  Made three relief appearances totaling five and two-thirds innings.

High School:  Named All-Southwest-Inter-Conference Association Orange “Pitcher of the Year” as a senior with a 7-1 mark and a 1.17 earned run average…also earned all-conference honors his senior year as a first baseman with a .427 batting average, six home runs and 37 RBI…all-conference as a junior with a 6-2 record and a 2.52 ERA while batting .401 with four home runs and 27 RBI…coached by Ron Czarnecki…in football, named all-conference his senior year…four-year honor student.

Personal:  Exercise and sports science major…his father, David Foss, was a wrestler at Elmhurst College and a longtime wrestling coach at Tinley Park High School…born March 28, 1986
