2009: Named American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball first-team All-Central Region, CCIW “Co-Hitter of the Year” and first-team All-CCIW with a .344 batting average, 14 doubles, 10 home runs and 56 RBI…named CCIW “Hitter of the Week” on April 7…started all 47 games, 33 at catcher and 14 as the designated hitter…had 21 multiple-hit game, including 15 two-hit games, five three-hit games and had four hits in the season-opener versus Ohio Wesleyan on March 14…had 13 games with two or more RBI, including two games with four RBI and a five-RBI game against Becker on March 14.
2008: Named American Baseball Coaches Association first-team All-Central Region…played in 44-of-46 games and made 40 starts, 31 at catcher and nine as the designated hitter…batted .364 with eight doubles, nine home runs and 44 RBI…had 11 games with two or more RBI.
2007: Named first-team All-CCIW…played in 44-of-50 games and made 42 starts, 26 at catcher and 16 as the designated hitter…batted .338 with 13 doubles, three home runs and 28 RBI…had 19 multiple-hit games, including a three-hit game against North Central on April 1…drove in three runs against Augustana (Ill.) on May 10 in the first round of the CCIW Baseball Tournament…compiled a 10-game hitting streak between March 31 and April 15.
2006: Played in nine games and made two starts at catcher…batted .364 in 11 at bats.
High School: Named Chicago Tribune third-team all-state his senior year, as well as Daily Herald all-area, Lakeland News “player of the year” and All-North Suburban League…Daily Herald all-area and honorable mention all-conference as a junior…coached by Howard Conkling…four-year member of the football team…Round Lake High School “athlete of the year” as a senior…honor student.
