2009:  Named “D3baseball.com” third-team All-America, American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball second-team All-Central Region, CCIW “Pitcher of the Year” and first-team All-CCIW with a 5-1 record, a 3.07 earned run average, three complete games, 3.57 walks per nine innings, 8.26 strikeouts per nine innings and a .231 opponent-batting average…matched his career high of 10 strikeouts against Millikin on April 4 and against Wheaton (Ill.) on May 9 in the championship game of the CCIW Baseball Tournament…took a no-decision in a 12-5 win over Millsaps on May 16 in the third round of the NCAA Central Regional Championship…was slated to pitch against Shenandoah on May 26 at the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship but came up with a sore elbow that will require “Tommy John surgery” in the off-season.

2008:  Named American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball second-team All-Central Region and second-team All-CCIW…made 10 starts and went 6-1 with a 4.48 earned run average and 7.77 strikeouts per nine innings in 68.1 innings pitched…named CCIW “pitcher of the week” on March 25 after going 2-0 with no earned runs in 15.0 innings on the Red Men’s spring trip…threw a four-hit shutout with a career-high 10 strikeouts over nine innings against Millikin on April 5.

2007:  Appeared in seven games and made five starts with a 4-1 record, one save, a team-leading 2.04 earned run average, three complete games and just 1.36 walks per nine innings…opponents batted just .205 against him…started conference games against Wheaton (Ill.) on April 16 and Elmhurst on April 24…starting and winning pitcher against Augustana (Ill.) on May 19 in the championship game of the Central Region championship…pitched three scoreless innings of relief against SUNY-Cortland on May 27 at the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship…earned a save against North Park on May 6 and named CCIW “Pitcher of the Week” on May 8…went 11-2 for the summer 2007 Arlington Heights American Legion team.

High School:  His junior-year team won a Mid-Suburban League East title…coached by Bob Huber…two-year member of the cross country team…National Honor Society member and four-year honor student.

Personal:  Double major in business administration and marketing…named twice to the Carthage dean’s list and named to the spring 2009 Carthage athletic director's honor roll…born March 9, 1988.
