High School:  Named honorable mention All-Upstate 8 Conference his senior year on an Illinois High School Association Class AA state runner-up team…all four of his teams won conference championships…coached by Jim Johns…member of the baseball team his freshman year…high honors student.

Personal:  Biology major…named twice to the Carthage dean’s list and named to the fall 2008 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Nov. 29, 1989.
