Stephanie Domin, formerly Stephanie Ulicny, begins her seventh year as head coach in 2010 (312-87 indoor record/235-66 outdoor record, 6 years) after serving three years as associate head coach and three years as an assistant. A native of Amherst, N.H., Domin received her bachelor’s in human development and counseling from the University of Rhode Island in 1993. She was a four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track at Rhode Island and was named All-Atlantic 10 Conference four times in cross country and three times in track as a distance runner, All-New England in both cross country and track and field four times and an NCAA Division I qualifier in cross country her senior year. Domin served as a graduate assistant coach in both cross country and track at Loras College (1994-97), where she received her master's in athletic administration in 1997. In addition to her track and field duties, Domin has served as Carthage’s head women’s cross country coach since 2000 after three years (1997-99) as an assistant coach. Domin her husband, Steve, the Carthage men’s soccer coach, live in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., with their newborn son, Ty.
Susanna Swenson, formerly Susanna Craven, begins her fourth year as an assistant coach in 2010 after a four-year career with the Lady Reds from 2001 to 2004. Swenson was part of Carthage 1,600-meter relay teams that finished fifth at the 2003 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship, seventh at the 2003 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship and fourth at the 2002 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship. Swenson earned a total of nine All-CCIW citations, including a first-place finish in the heptathlon at the 2004 CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship. A native of Platteville, Wis., Swenson graduated from Carthage in 2004 with a bachelor’s in exercise and sport science. She received her master’s in education from Iowa State University in 2006 and served as that school’s CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator for the 2005-06 academic year. Swenson and her husband, Steve, live in Beach Park, Ill.
John Anderson begins his eighth year as a part-time assistant coach in 2010, working primarily with the pole vaulters. A native of Racine, Wis., Anderson graduated from Wisconsin-Parkside in 1985 with a bachelor’s in communications. He was a four-year member of the track and field team and still holds the Rangers’ school pole vault record (15-6). Anderson coached high school track and field for 12 years, most recently as head coach at Racine Washington Park High School (1994-2002) where his teams won three Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state championships. Anderson is the owner of Busy Bee Carpet Cleaning in Racine, Wis.
Tanya Hasenjager, formerly Tanya Liermann, begins her eighth year as a part-time assistant coach in 2010, and she works primarily with the jumpers. Hasenjager, a native of Manitowoc, Wis., lettered four times for the Lady Reds (1993-95, 1997), won a 1996 CCIW title in the long jump and joined teammate Kim Deaton in qualifying for the 1997 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship in the long jump. She graduated from Carthage in 1997 with a bachelor’s in music. Hasenjager teaches at St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, Wis., where she coached boy’s and girl’s track and field from 1998 to 2002.
