    Instructions for Student Employees

If you are a work study student as determined by the Office of Student Financial Planning, you will be placed in a position to earn the amount of your award.

If you are not a work study student, there is no formal placement for jobs. You may inquire at the Office of Student Financial Planning regarding departments that are hiring.

As a new student employee, you should report to your supervisor for training, keep an accurate account of your hours, and turn in your authorized time sheet to your supervisor according to the dates listed under Payroll Schedule as Time Sheet Due Date. Approved and signed timesheets can only be submitted to the Business Office by supervisors, not students.

All new student employees must complete the required tax forms (I9 and W4) before starting their employment. No checks will be issued until these forms are complete.

Contact Carole Forgianni, extension 6004 in the Business Office for forms, questions, and instructions. Return completed forms only to Carole Forgianni.

Student Payroll is distributed on the 1st work day of each month in the Business Office. You must bring a picture ID to pick up your check.

At the end of the year, if you want your check mailed, bring a self addressed envelope to the Business Office, Attention: Carole Forgianni.

Contact the Office of Student Financial Planning at extension 6001 with questions regarding Workstudy or Campus Employment, job inquiries, or obtaining time sheets or authorizations.
