Federal Compliance

On March 14, 2017, the federal government published updated Research Terms & Conditions, which are an Overlay to the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) found in 2 CFR 200.

These replace the previous Federal-Wide Research Terms and Conditions that served as a model implementation of OMB A-110. Nine federal granting agencies (see list below), worked collaboratively to develop terms and conditions consistent with the Uniform Guidance that are specific to research and consistent with government-wide research policies.

The nine federal agencies involved are:
