Carthage has more than 130 student clubs and organizations through which students can get involved, explore possible careers, meet other students, work closely with faculty advisors, and perform customer service. See a full list of Carthage student organizations on The Harbor, our website for student organizations.

Biology majors can join any active student organization that allows them to network with other life scientists and engage in rewarding service activities. For example, Beta Beta Beta is the national biology honorary fraternity, and Carthage United to Rescue the Earth promotes environmental causes on campus and regionally. Students can also join the Biology Club — a new club that helps support underclassmen, biology majors. There are also clubs for students interested in pursuing careers in health-related fields.

Here’s a list of clubs that are popular with biology majors:

  • Biology Club
  • Beta Beta Beta
  • Entomology Club
  • Paleontology Club
  • Pre-Health Club
  • Carthage United to Rescue the Earth (CURE)
  • Carthage Horticulture Club
