Carthage alumni are invited to use the Semler Fitness Center, the rock climbing wall, and the Koenitzer Aquatic Center and Haribo Pool when available and staffed. Alumni can also use the Field House when it’s not in use by Carthage Athletics.
Gaining access to the TARC
Alumni are required to enter into the building using the south upper entrance located in the South Upper Parking Lot. Visitors are required to sign in at the Control Room to gain access to the facilities and will need to present a valid state-issued ID.
Parking
Alumni are welcome to park in designated visitor parking areas. Please check the website for detailed parking information.
Locker room access
Alumni and guests are welcome to use the common-use locker rooms located in the lower level of the TARC. Lockers are not available for storage for personal belongings or street clothes, so please be prepared to bring a gym bag with you to store in the facility you plan to use.
Designated facilities
The TARC is a high-traffic facility, and students, student athletes, and College programs have first priority. Please note, you will need to be flexible to what facilities will be available on any given visit. Alumni have access to the following TARC facilities:

Aquatic Center
Due to limited availability of lifeguards, alumni and guests are allowed to access the Aquatic Center during designated Family Fun Nights. See the Control Room staff for additional details and the schedule.
Community Code
Alumni are expected to comply with Carthage’s Community Code while using the TARC facilities. Violating the Community Code or TARC staff directions can result in the expulsion of you and/or your guest or a permanent ban from campus.
