Joseph Johnson Residence Hall is a traditional, co-ed hall that is named for Joseph Johnson, a founder and former chairman of the board of Snap-On Inc., who was an important benefactor of Carthage.

Johnson Hall is comprised of standard double rooms, a few quad rooms, and some suite-style options. Johnson Hall is comprised of six male communities and three female communities.

Johnson Hall is directly overseen by the hall director of Johnson Hall. The area coordinator for The Tower, Madrigrano, and Johnson Halls provides additional support to the Johnson community. Johnson Hall also has a team of student staff to build community, help address student concerns and serve as a resource for their peers.

Floor Plan

Johnson Hall is comprised of double rooms, a few suite-style options, and a few quad rooms. Traditional double rooms are approximately 14 feet by 11 feet, including the closets. Each room contains a bed, mattress, desk and chair, closet, nightstand, small rolling storage unit, and dresser for each resident.
