2015 Art Walk
All Stories

Carthage invites the community to admire projects created by Carthage students in the Eighth Annual Art Walk from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at various venues across our beautiful, flowering lakeside campus.

Stroll along Lake Michigan and admire capstone thesis projects in many different forms of media. Examples include the Photography, Film, and New Media Program’s new juried photography exhibition, “Light In, Light Out,” exploring metaphors of “light.” The exhibit features twelve photographs (digital and darkroom photos) by twelve Carthage students. Six students received honorable mentions for their photos, with the option to share their work on social media.

Join us for the opening reception of thesis presentations by studio art majors Katie Drummond ’23, Bri Jordan ’23, Michael McMurray ’23, Mackenzie Stanley ’23, and Andrew Colletti ’23.

Theses from 14 graduating graphic design majors will also be featured in this show.

Additionally, a juried Digital Salon of student works will be organized by Professor Joshua McGowan in the Niemann Media Theater. The Digital Salon will include animations, short films, video art, and other digital media created by Carthage students.
