Get help confirming general education designations TODAY
Our new general education (GE) program is up and running! As a reminder, all GE courses received “Provisional Approvals” at the start of our rollout, but each must go through the “Confirmed Approvals” process before June 2027.
Departments are encouraged to submit at least 20 percent of their courses for “Confirmed Approval” each semester between now and June 2027.

To support this process, General Eduction Oversight Committee (GEOC) members will hold weekly office hours this term. Faculty are invited to stop by and receive advice, support, or just companionship while submitting proposals for GE designation to the committee.
Upcoming support hours
Next week, Professor Alyson Kiesel will hold office hours from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, in Lentz Hall 309.
