Biography

Amy Malczewski MSc ’24 has been a member of the Carthage community since 2001. During this time, she has served in multiple roles at Carthage, including dance team coach, adjunct visual communications instructor, spirit director, and now as a career specialist.

Since 1997, Amy has also worked as an artist with a national gift wrap company creating artwork for Target® and Walmart®, as a senior graphic designer with international consumer goods company S.C. Johnson, Inc., as a senior designer with Design Partners Inc., and as an entrepreneur with A. Creative Promotions llc.

Amy has a passion for the arts and an infectious enthusiasm for being creative. In The Aspire Center, Amy listens to, collaborates with, and connects students to outstanding experiential learning opportunities. She is always on the lookout for additional ways to work with Carthage students.

Amy has a Bachelor of Art from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and a Master of Science in Business — Design and Innovation from Carthage. Amy and her husband, Lewis ’97, have a blended family with five children: Madison, Lewis, Samantha ’26, Mia ’27, and Tyler.

“I spend my free time creating things and attending athletic events and performances of any scale. If my husband or young adult children join me, then I enjoy creating or attending the events even more!”
