Though, to date, no cases of measles in Wisconsin have been reported to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), there have been a number recent cases in other states. To help inform our community, the Health and Counseling Center wants to provide the community with the following important information:

  • 99% of Carthage’s full-time undergraduate students have been vaccinated with the required two doses of the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccine.
  • According to the CDC, the majority of people who contract measles are unvaccinated.
  • Any student interested in getting the MMR vaccine can do so at any local pharmacy.
  • For more information on the MMR vaccine and symptoms of measles, mumps and rubella, scroll down to see the flyer or click here to view the PDF

Please stop in the Health and Counseling Center or call 262-551-5710 with any questions.
