Prof. Christine Blaine, Carthage students teach science to St. Joseph Catholic Academy students

Professor Christine Blaine would like to give a huge thank you to all of the chemistry, biology, and environmental science students who helped her teach four lessons on water quality culminating in a field experience at Petrifying Springs Park last week to fourth-grade students of St. Joseph Catholic Academy. The Carthage students helped the fourth graders collect macroinvertebrates and water samples and identify common trees and plants. All of the students had fun being real scientists!
