One of the great opportunities available to Carthage students is participation in J-Term international education experiences (but you knew that already — it’s part of why you chose to attend Carthage!). While a number of study tours are already full, some are still accepting applications from interested students. Check out the website below for full program descriptions, and then contact the faculty leaders directly — act quickly, seats are filling fast!

January 2020 Study Tours

  • Biodiversity, Brains, and Behavior (Honduras — scuba certification is required)
  • Namibia: A Sociocultural Journey (Namibia)
  • Spanish immersion experience (Costa Rica)

Summer 2020 Study Tours

  • Representations of Germany’s Past (Austria and Germany — June)
  • Rooted in Place: History, Biodiversity, and Environment in SE Asia (Singapore and Taiwan — June)
  • Korean Baseball as Colonial Legacy and Popular Culture (South Korea — June)
  • New York City: Art and Theater (New York, NY —June)
  • Field archaeology at Madeure (France — August)
