Carthage President John Swallow featured in new podcast by EAB
“Moon Shot for Equity,” which Carthage joined in 2020, is a national initiative that aims to close equity gaps in higher education by 2030. The focus of this initiative is to help more students of color and other historically underserved populations graduate from college.
Carthage’s most recent retention rates of first-year students from spring 2023 to fall 2023 is 82 percent — an all-time high for the College. Carthage is all in when it comes to serving our students. With the help from faculty, staff, and members of the Carthage community, we continue to work to close equity gaps and increase student retention.
