Nicole Vydra ’24 receives Presidential Award for Special Merit: Innovation

Nicole Vydra ’24 was awarded the Presidential Award for Special Merit: Innovation at the 2024 National Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) Convention.

Nicole Vydra ’24 at the 2024 National Pi Sigma Epsilon Convention. Nicole was nominated for this award by the Alpha Omega chapter for the innovation she has brought to the chapter during 2023. This award recognizes a student who implemented innovative ideas for chapter operations during the 2023 COG year.

Nicole’s transformative leadership as vice president of professional development and later vice president of human resources for Carthage’s Alpha Omega chapter was marked by initiatives such as fostering a more inclusive environment, introducing impactful professional development events like the March Madness Interview Competition, implementing monthly surveys for member feedback, and maintaining connections with national headquarters. These initiatives have significantly elevated the chapter’s culture and success.
