Colleen Palmer, assistant professor of public relations in the Communication and Digital Media Department, will present “Prescribing Trust: The Essential Integration of Public Relations and Crisis Communication in Healthcare Practice” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Campbell Student Union (CSU) Auditorium.

Prof. Colleen Palmer Prof. Colleen Palmer Prof. Palmer has been a faculty member at Carthage since 2014. She leads the public relations (PR) major and minor, and she teaches Principles of PR, PR Writing, Communications Management, PR Campaigns, Crisis Communication, and PR Senior Seminar.

In addition to teaching, Prof. Palmer is an award-winning scholar, a member of the Public Relations Society of America, and is a faculty advisor to the Carthage chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. She mentors many students completing PR internships throughout the year and connects with businesses and organizations to provide students with hands-on experience in her classes.
