Students are invited to apply for academic credit for their relevant internships as well as internship funding through Aspire’s Experiential Learning Fund.

Internship for credit

Did you know you can earn academic credit in your major while completing a related internship? If you have a summer internship lined up, you can begin the process to earn credit for it today. Visit The Aspire Center on the fourth floor of Lentz Hall or send an email to aspire@carthage.edu to request more information.

Applications must be submitted to the internship and experiential learning coordinator at The Aspire Center before credit can be earned. Interested students should return all required paperwork at least three weeks before the first summer add/drop deadline.

Funding for internships and experiential learning

The Aspire Center is dedicated to supporting students who want to participate in unpaid or low-paying experiential learning opportunities. Students can apply to receive funding for internships, projects, and even conferences through the Experiential Learning Fund!

To be considered for funding this summer, be sure to fill out an application by Wednesday, May 15. All majors are welcome to apply. If you have any questions, please email aspire@carthage.edu.
