Seeking applications for a part-time, limited term appointment in film and new media beginning in Fall 2024. The appointment would be for the ’24-’25 academic year, with renewal possible on a yearly basis.

Requirements:

  • Teach five courses in the academic year, including some combination of: Film Analysis, Film and New Media Production, New Media Theory and Aesthetics, Screenwriting, Film History, Exploring the Documentary, and Mass Communication, depending on expertise and departmental needs.
  • Expected to assist with managing departmental production equipment and potentially student advising, as able.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Communication, Film, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Candidates without an advanced degree but with significant professional experience are also encouraged to apply. We encourage applications from a diverse pool of candidates with real-world experience who desire to teach professional skills in a liberal arts context.
