Fight Against Apathy (FAA) Week is a week dedicated to raising awareness of an international issue, and this year’s FAA topic is the refugee crisis focused in Central and South America.

According to the UN High Commissioner of Refugees (UNHCR), in 2022, there were approximately 1 million refugees. And in the middle of 2023, according to the UNHCR, there were approximately 22.1 million people displaced.
