    Jonathan Bar-Din is an adjunct faculty member for Carthage’s Master of Education program. Mr. Bar-Din has been a teacher of students with special needs as well as an administrator at all levels of education. He has 25 years of experience as a principal at Curtis A. Strange Elementary in Kenosha Unified School District #1. He currently teaches the Foundations of Education graduate course at Carthage.

    Prior to him moving to Kenosha, Mr. Bar-Din lived in New York and New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside and his Master of Science in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He also holds a Master Educator License for the state of Wisconsin.

    Mr. Bar-Din had spent his early years teaching special education in Racine, Wis. He has been awarded the “Administrator of the Year” award at both the district and state level and was recognized by the Wisconsin State Reading Association. In his free time, he enjoys boating, camping, construction, and coaching.
