What have you enjoyed most about your career?

“I’ve enjoyed gaining experience in different ways throughout my career so far. I’ve been fortunate enough to make the jump from higher education to the edtech world. This shift has been very rewarding as I help individuals achieve success in multiple settings.”

Why did you choose Carthage?

“Playing on the women’s basketball team under Coach Tim Bernero was a top reason why I transferred to Carthage. While I was injured for a majority of my time on the team, being a part of the basketball program allowed me to build relationships and set up a path for myself that led me to being the women’s basketball graduate assistant.”

What Carthage professors played a part in your success and how?

“Professor Cynthia Allen has played a great part in my success in college and still does! She was my undergrad professor for exercise and sport science and then my graduate advisor. She helped me with every thesis assignment I wrote, both during undergrad and graduate school, and supported me when going through personal challenges in college. Still to this day, I appreciate her advice and love that she has had me speak in one of her classes. I could not be more thankful for all of Prof. Allen’s support.”
