    Professor Gary Keller is an award-winning educator. He offers his learners more than 30 years of teaching experience from around the world and has more than 45 published articles, including five Best Research Paper awards from international conferences.

    Prof. Keller joined Carthage in 2022. Prior to teaching at Carthage, he taught at Eastern Oregon University from 2012 to 2022. In May 2013, he was promoted to full professor at EOU. From 1999 to 2012, Prof. Keller taught in the College of Business and Management at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. From 1996 to 2003, he taught in the international programs of several universities in Asia.

    In 2002, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, a professional business school accreditation organization, awarded Prof. Keller a National Teaching Excellence honor. In 2013, the Monarch Business School, an online Swiss institution, awarded him its Outstanding Professor Award. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees at Eastern Oregon University and was selected for membership in Phi Kappa Phi in 2019.

    In addition to his teaching, Prof. Keller practices his academic skills as a consultant, trainer, and facilitator on strategy, project management, and process improvement. His skills in strategic planning, team development, and implementing quality enabled him to turn around several organizations and attain state and national recognition for innovative services and improving financial achievements. Today, Prof. Keller is also a global trainer, lecturer, and facilitator who is engaged by firms that want to focus their human and fiscal resources to dramatically improve their performance.

    • Feb. 2022 — Nominated by Eastern Oregon University students/Student Government Association to receive the Teacher’s Excellence Award.
    • Jan. 2022 — Conference Paper: “Examining if Grading Bias Exists in a Professor of Business’ Courses.” A three-year analysis was selected for an “Outstanding Research Award” and a “Best in Session Award” as determined by a double-blind review process. All papers submitted to the conference were selected through a juried review process. The paper was presented at the 32nd Global Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF), held in Honolulu, Hawaii, January 3-5, 2022.

    • Dec. 2017 — Recipient of a Gold Merit Medal from Monarch Business School (Switzerland) for dedication and time served at Monarch. The medal represents the dedication of time and effort spent in fulfilling duties at Monarch and for exemplary service to the Institution.

    • Jan. 2016 — Conference Paper: “Reevaluating if a linkage exists between ceo compensation and the net income and stock price of their firm: A micro study” was selected for an “Outstanding Research Award” as determined by a double-blind review process. The presentation given at the conference was selected for a Best in Session Award Winner (BISA) for the Internet Session. The paper was presented at the 2016 Institute for Business and Finance Research Global Conference on Business and Finance held in Honolulu, Hawaii, January 4-7, 2016. All papers submitted to the conference were selected through a double-blind review process.

    • May 2014 — Conference Paper: “Comparing Differences Between the Learning Outcomes of Adult Learners, Traditional Learners and Online Learners: A Quantitative Methodology” presentation was awarded a Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Research and Presentation by the Canadian-American Conference for Academic Disciplines.
