Abilene Heichelbech
Biography
After working on a data team in financial technology for three years, Abilene joined Carthage’s Institutional Research team in May 2023. As a data reporting specialist, she creates institutional reports for internal and external parties, assists with data governance, and supports student information systems maintenance.

- Performs research to support data initiatives and institutional priorities, such as retention, academic planning, and student success.
- Creates and maintains Workday reports.
- Creates Ad Hoc reports for faculty and staff.

“My biggest hobby is Dungeons and Dragons! I run a campaign and play in another every week. The best time of the year for me is my husband’s birthday, when our friends get together to play in person. We go all out dressing up and decorating our apartment!”
