Digital lab with comprehensive access

All graphic design majors benefit from our digital classroom, equipped with 24 Mac computers. This space is open for your use between classes and during most evenings, with lab techs on hand to provide expert advice and support.

Build your professional portfolio by designing materials such as digital posts, programs, websites, and more through internships with the Office of Visual and Performing Arts and the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Showcase your talent

Display your artwork and compete in the Annual Art Walk and the Annual Juried Art Show. There are multiple exhibitions students can participate in, and the senior seminar culminates in a personal design exhibit, giving you the chance to display a portfolio of your best work.

Carthage students have the opportunity to travel abroad for hands-on lessons that can’t be taught in the classroom. Professor Laura Huaracha regularly leads J-Term study tours to photograph nature in locations like Arizona and Costa Rica.
