Blood Drives

Once each semester (fall and spring) the CFS Service Team coordinates a blood drive on campus with the Red Cross. Giving blood is one of the most selfless and life-giving acts. If you can’t give, you can always volunteer to check people in or help with hospitality with the donors who have just given.

Feed My Starving Children

Once or twice a year we will head to Feed My Starving Children in Libertyville, Illinois, to package food kits for children throughout the world who are in need. This project is very popular and spaces fill up quickly.

Winter and Year-End Food Drives

The CFS Food Drive supports our own Luther’s Lunchbox, as well as local community organizations, The Shalom Center and Grace Welcome Center. There is a lot of food that goes unused in our resident halls. Instead of throwing it away the CFS will collect it and give it to those in need in our community. Food must be unopened and can’t be expired.
