Medical Benefits

Carthage College provides supplemental accident and sickness benefits to all full-time undergraduate students during the academic year.

Students do not need to sign up or pay for these benefits. The benefit pays eligible expenses in excess of any other insurance you may have. The supplemental accident and sickness plans do not meet the standards required by the health care reform law and does not replace your current major medical coverage.

To take advantage of these benefits, students must complete a EIIA claim form, and submit the itemized insurance bills and explanation of benefits if you have primary insurance plan. Access the EIIA form online or in the Health and Counseling Center. The form must be signed by the Health and Counseling Center. The completion of the claim form does not guarantee benefits.
