J-Term Blog: Our last few days in Costa Rica!

I’m so excited for you all to see what we’ve done the last few days in Costa Rica! We went to Las Vueltas lodge, which was almost 10,000 feet above sea level! It’s a beautiful place that is family-run.
There we got to hike and see all the natural beauty in the area. The tree below is native to just this area in Costa Rica.
I also got to milk a cow, which was the first time for me.
Las Vueltas was beautiful, but after all that fun, it was time to head to our next destination: San Isidro de Perez Zeledon. We stayed at a hotel there and took a two-hour drive to meet with the indigenous tribes of the Boruca and Bri-Bri.
The Boruca are known for their masks that they make and the Dance of the Devils. And after all that, we had a long travel day, but halfway through, we stopped at the Basilica de Los Angeles.
