This fall, Carthage will revive our annual tradition of taking a long weekend trip to Stratford, Ontario in Canada to see plays at the world-class Stratford Theatre Festival.

Any Carthage student, alumni, staff member, or faculty member interested in literature and drama should consider joining us for this extraordinary experience! This year’s festival takes place Thursday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 8.

Info sessions and registration

Professor Alyson Kiesel will host an information session for those who want to learn more about the trip at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, in room 318 of Lentz Hall.

The deadline to register is Friday, April 28.

About the trip

The five plays this year include “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Rent,” a choice of “Spamalot” or “Les Belles-Soeurs,” “Frankenstein Revisited,” and “King Lear.”

All Carthage students are eligible for Stratford scholarships and should keep an eye out for announcements about the application process. Winner(s) will receive cash toward the cost of the Stratford Festival trip, including bus fare, hotel room, and theatre tickets.
