Discovery Freshmen Program: Learn about Deloitte internships Wednesday
Calling all freshmen! You are invited to a meet-and-greet program with one of the largest accounting firms in the United States at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, in room 411 of Lentz Hall.
Deloitte employees are excited to meet you to talk about internship programs — from accounting to business — and many other things. A free lunch will be provided to you!
About the internship
Throughout the internship, interns are assigned to one or more client projects, and they will receive mentorship and support to help their success in the engagement. Beyond exposure to “real life” projects, the internship also delivers a variety of national and local learning and networking events. Ongoing learning events include Lunch and Learn, industry/service line spotlights, and regularly scheduled training offerings designed to help interns develop technical and client service skills.
Interns will understand first-hand what a career with Deloitte is like and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and self-confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and able to work collaboratively. They are also expected to demonstrate leadership qualities and potential.
All freshmen from all majors are invited to the meet and greet.
