Hiring two student workers to support Catholic Mass
The Center for Faith and Spirituality is hiring two students to support Catholic Mass programming.
Students will be hired this spring and do some training with graduating senior staff. Student hires will then be employed for the 2024-25 academic year. Students must be available to work from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday evenings.
Roman Catholic Community Builder and Cantor
- Support the Catholic student music coordinator on Sundays with Mass
- Assist with scheduled weekly priests, lectors, and all assistants
- Act as cantor for weekly Mass
- Ability to site read is very helpful
- Work with accompanist to practice and prepare
- Serve an average of 2-3 hours per week
Community Builder for Roman Catholics — Mass Accompanist and Music Planner
- Serve as accompanist and music planner for weekly Sunday Mass
- Ability to site read is important
- With with cantor and any musicians at weekly practice time
- Work with other CFS Catholic Mass staff for planning and logistics
- Serve 9-12 hours a month (2-4 hrs weekly)
