MTI Motion presents at Engineering Lunch and Learn

Heather Heiking, Marilyn McDermid, and Phil Pyke visited the Carthage Engineering Department on March 26 to present on MTI Motion and share their knowledge on motor and linear actuator design and manufacture.

MTI Motion designs and delivers highly engineered motion control solutions, such as custom motors, generators, and precision-threaded products, for the world’s most demanding applications. Their solutions can be found in commercial and military aircraft, military missile systems, and other specialty markets like space, oil and gas, and medical applications.

MTI Motion has a workforce exceeding 600 employees and has their main headquarters here in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Their company has additional manufacturing locations in Muskego, Wisconsin and Matamoros, Mexico.

The Carthage Engineering Department hosts local companies with Lunch and Learn events on the third Tuesday of the month throughout the academic year.
