Carly McLaughlin ’24 conducts student-led session at National Pi Sigma Epsilon Convention
Carly McLaughlin ’24 was one of four students who ran a student-led Academy Live Session at the 2024 National Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) Convention.
The “Mastering Leadership in a Dynamic World” session discussed the importance of effective leadership in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world. This session was designed to equip students with the skills and insights needed to thrive as leaders in their everyday lives.
In the session, Carly discussed the seven most prominent leadership styles for Gen-Z and provided guidance on determining one’s own leadership style. Carly also explained how to grow as a leader and apply these skills to various areas, providing real-life examples for school, work, and life. This included activities to allow students to work with one another through a series of scenarios to put their skills to the test.
