Art students gather for senior thesis exhibitions.

The senior thesis exhibitions by Theresa Kalb ’24, Stewart Lilly ’24, Helen Marchant ’24, Kailee Nunzio ’24, and Michelina Tuzil ’24 will be on display Friday, April 19 through Saturday, April 27, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art. 

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to celebrate with the artists at the opening reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the Visual and Performing Arts Lab (VPAL). Food and beverages will be served.

The culmination of the studio art and photography degrees involves a senior thesis exhibition. In this first round of spring thesis exhibitions, Theresa Kalb presents mixed media artworks. Stewart Lilly’s thesis show features two black and white photograph mini-series. Helen Marchant’s work centers around architecture photography. Kailee Nunzio’s exhibit, “Miniature Traumas,” contains sculptural dioramas, and Michelina Tuzil is exhibiting ink drawings.

The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Extended hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. All exhibitions are free and open to the public.
