All Stories

See senior exhibitions by Trinity Alexander ’24, Tajaniah Drone ’24, Madeleine Frank ’24, Amber Redmond ’24, and Paige Smith ’24 on display Friday, May 3 through Saturday, May 11, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art.

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to celebrate with the artists during the opening reception of their exhibitions from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art (during the Annual Art Walk). Food and beverages will be served.

The culmination of the self-designed majors in visual arts and studio art degrees involves a senior thesis exhibition. In this second round of spring thesis exhibitions, Trinity Alexander, a self-designed film and new media major, presents film and music scores. Tajaniah Drone, a self-designed interior design major, will exhibit interior design layouts, 3D-printed models, and hand-built ceramic tiles.

Three studio art majors will show their work. Madeleine Frank’s thesis work centers around fiber arts. Amber Redmond’s exhibit contains ceramics, photography, and a sound installation. And Paige Smith will show paintings.

The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Extended hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. All art exhibits are free and open to the public.
