Please join the Carthage community for a free screening of Isabel Rivero-Vilà’s latest documentary film, “Nocturno.”

Two screenings take place Friday, May 3:

  • 10:30-11:30 a.m., in the Niemann Media Theatre (Hedberg Library)
  • 4:15-5:30 p.m., in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium

The film tells the story of Carmen, an elderly pianist, who struggles every day after a serious fall and who slowly regains hope thanks to new friendships and a piano composition written especially for her. 

The filmmaker, a former Carthage professor in the Modern Languages Department, will be present to introduce her film. The film is in French and Catalan with English subtitles.

All members of the community are encourage to attend.
