Senior Creative Writing Chapbook Reading Tuesday

Senior creative writers will read from their chapbooks at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in the Niemann Media Theater. Afterward, attend the English Department and Creative Writing Awards Celebration and an Open Mic. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Readings by Samantha Hermans ’24, Balen Mautone ’24, Maleah McKnight ’24, Nikkiema S. Harris ’24, Kiley Lamb ’24, Jo Mulder ’24, Madie Haupert ’24, Gia Pokorney ’24, Mia Ward ’24, and Kj De Jesus ’24 will lead off the evening. 

The second part of our gathering will be an end-of-term celebration, including a writing competition and other award announcements, induction of new members into the English Honor Society, and recognition of our wonderful graduating seniors.

The evening will close with an open mic in which all are welcome to share something they have written or a favorite poem or paragraph by an author of their choosing.
