What have you enjoyed most about your career?

“Before the Federal Reserve, I spent time at Ford Chip Ganassi Racing, United Airlines, and Henson Consulting. I love that, so far throughout my career, I have been able to work in so many different sectors and experience what each one is about. It has helped me become a very versatile communicator and trusted counselor who thrives in high-pressure environments, coaches executives, and steers communications with a steady hand.”

How did Carthage prepare you?

“When you attend a school like Carthage, you get the chance to take a global look at issues that affect your major when solving a problem. So if you’re studying public relations, you take business and economics classes that will help you learn to understand that side of PR and how PR could affect business outcomes.”

How has your liberal arts education benefitted you?

“Liberal arts programs give such a wide range of experiences that it’s easy to tailor your abilities to any number of jobs. Carthage gave me the skills to adapt and work under pressure while still doing high-quality work.”
