What have you enjoyed most about your career?

“Throughout my career, I have continued to grow and learn more about marketing, as well as the industry that I am working in. Expanding my knowledge is something I enjoy doing, especially because the field is constantly changing. I also love the creativity my job requires because I am such an artistic person. Finding a career that allows me to showcase my creativity was the best decision I’ve ever made.”

Why did you choose Carthage?

“I chose Carthage for the home-like feeling it gave me when I visited. I was timid and reserved when I graduated high school, so I wanted a college that made me feel at home.”

What Carthage professors played a part in your success and how?

Professor J.J. Shields helped prepare me for the corporate world. Professor Julio Rivera believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. And Professor Jennifer Madden was someone who helped me to gain confidence in myself.”

Tips for current Carthage students?

“My #1 tip for any student at Carthage is don’t hold back. Join that club. Try out for that sport. Do the thing that scares you. Life is too short to spend it on what-ifs. Don’t hold back.”
