Carrying out our mission to develop the best-prepared business students in the Midwest, all Carthage business programs follow our proprietary READY™ (Real-world Experience And Developing You) curriculum.

Professors set business professional standards, embedding “real-world” projects and industry standard software (Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Ads, HubSpot, WordPress, Tableau, Trello, etc.) in their classes. Many marketing majors add a second major (typically in management) to bolster their credentials.

The A. W. Clausen Center for World Business prepares students for business leadership in a global economy. You won’t find any large lecture halls; the classrooms encourage group discussion, and the multimedia equipment sharpens presentation skills. The centerpiece is the Troha Boardroom, where you might make a presentation, engage in a debate with fellow students and professors, or meet with visiting business leaders.
