Carthage College will match, dollar for dollar, the Wisconsin Tuition Grant!

The State of Wisconsin offers a wide variety of financial aid programs to assist Wisconsin residents who are seeking their first bachelor’s degree. The Wisconsin Tuition Grants does not need to be repaid.

The Wisconsin Tuition Grant is a need-based grant that provides grant assistance to undergraduate, Wisconsin residents enrolled at least half-time in a private, non-profit institutions within the State of Wisconsin. Grants are based on financial need. The maximum grant amount is established annually by the Higher Educational Aids Board of Wisconsin (HEAB). Students must complete the FAFSA to be considered for this grant.

The Wisconsin Tuition Grant receipts are determined by information submitted on the FAFSA form. Grants range from $250-$4,150 per year. For new incoming students Fall 2023 and later, eligible for the Wisconsin Tuition Grant, Carthage College will match dollar for dollar up to $3,650 per year.

For consideration for the Wisconsin Tuition Grant match at Carthage:

  • Students must be accepted to Carthage by Dec. 3.
  • Students must submit their FAFSA form to Carthage by Dec. 3.
  • Students must be a Wisconsin resident.
  • Eligibility will be determined by the FAFSA form.
