New Member Recruitment

Carthage College fraternities and sororities recruit new members every fall and spring. Fall Recruitment happens in September. Spring Recruitment happens in February.

Eligibility

• Recruitment is only open to students with second-semester freshman or higher class status. First-semester freshmen are not eligible to join a social fraternity or sorority in the fall semester.
• Interested students must meet a GPA requirement of at least 2.25 for fraternities and at least 2.5 for sororities. Some chapters have higher GPA requirements, and students are encouraged to inquire about requirements at recruitment events.
